Mission/Position Headline
Directing and leading controls and digitalization projects in the power generation industry in Asia Pacific, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements and with end-to-end responsibility for economic results, quality, schedule and EHS.
Areas of Responsibility
- Leads the project throughout the complete project life cycle (scope, cost, quality, schedule) and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates assigned resources and monitors and reports progress and achievement regularly to all partners.
- Negotiates or contributes to negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
- Responsible for meeting all project achievements and technical objectives.
- Monitors the budget alignment and may take actions to minimize non-conformance costs.
- Checks projects results, designs respective test procedures and monitors test results.
- Ensures proper documentation of project results, and of all products or technologies delivered.
- Adheres to PM standards defined, and handles and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics or controls engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience in controls and digitalization systems service, maintenance or engineering
- Experience as Project Manager with full responsibility for project results > 3 years
- > 2 years leadership experience managing projects with core team members > 3 members
- Experience in managing projects in an international/ intercultural environment
- Knowledge and experience on power generation control systems (OMNIVISE-T3000 or PCS7 will be an added advantage)
- Full working rights in Australia and the ability to travel for the execution of site based projects
- Project management certification will be an added advantage

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
