This entry-level position has been created to fill a replacement need, ensuring business continuity within the Final Assembly team for Power Transformers in Jundiai, Brazil. The role operates within the manufacturing function and is essential for maintaining production schedules. To support the final stages of transformer production, this role focuses on three core areas: hands-on electrical assembly and wiring, functional system testing and quality control, and the safe operation of auxiliary equipment. These activities directly contribute to completing products according to technical specifications and quality standards. Given the focus on foundational assembly tasks, the ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical principles and the ability to interpret technical diagrams. A high school diploma is required, with technical training in electronics or a related field being highly desirable, as the role involves routine, supervised work typical of an entry-level position.
How You'll Make an Impact
50% Electrical Assembly and Wiring
Read and interpret electrical schematics to prepare and number wiring according to specific standards.
Perform the complete external wiring of transformer panels and the main unit.
Install and connect all electrical accessories, including level indicators, gas relays, relief valves, and current transformers.
Prepare and install flexible conduits and tubes for wiring, ensuring proper connection to panel terminals.
30% System Testing and Quality Control
Conduct functional tests on assembled electrical panels to verify the correct operation of all components.
Perform visual inspections during the assembly process to ensure adherence to quality standards and design specifications.
Identify and report any non-conformities or defects discovered during assembly or testing.
20% Equipment Operation and Safety
Operate overhead cranes for the safe transport and positioning of panels and heavy components.
Operate mobile elevating work platforms to perform tasks on the upper sections of the transformer.
Conduct minor adjustments and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, such as lubrication and cleaning.
Adhere to all company policies regarding Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
