A Snapshot of Your Day

Working as part of a dynamic team that provides tooling support to the Siemens Energy Field Service Organization. The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring tooling readiness by leading personnel and managing tool demands based on Outage Forecasting. The safety and development of the employees will be your highest priority while, also, delivering a quality product in scheduled timing.

Leadership, management, communication, and data management skills will be applied daily to ensure the satisfactory completion of tasks and projects. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment where LEAN practices were utilized to deliver finished products.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supervise and lead production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance while fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure timely delivery and identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications and compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production staff.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to optimize production processes and analyze production data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or 8+ years of equivalent technical experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations/project management/LEAN (recommended)
  • Knowledgeable in combustion turbine and steam turbine tooling/equipment.
  • Foster team dynamics and develop competencies within the team.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Extensive background in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SAP, etc.

Some travel (10%) required.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
