- Act as global process owner for Treasury Operations (Accounting, Middle & Back Office), ensuring standardized processes, clear governance, and compliance with IFRS/HGB and internal RIC frameworks.
- Oversee and coordinate all Treasury closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly) with Accounting, Controlling, regions, and auditors, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Manage Treasury Accounting processes across cash management, debt, derivatives, investments, intercompany funding, and in-house bank activities.
- Ensure integrity and seamless integration between subledger (Quantum) and general ledger (SAP S/4HANA), including governance of accounting, controls, and reporting submissions.
- Govern valuation methodologies, market and counterparty risk frameworks (e.g., VaR), and regulatory reporting (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, AWV), while maintaining global Back Office standards.
- Lead and develop the Treasury Operations team, driving standardization, automation, system migrations, and digitalization initiatives including the adoption of AI technologies.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, combined with long-term experience in Treasury Operations and/or Treasury Accounting in an international environment.
- Broad end-to-end expertise across Treasury Accounting, Middle Office, and Back Office processes, with proven ownership of global processes and controls.
- Proven leadership experience, including team and/or process leadership in complex, international setups.
- Strong systems knowledge, including SAP (FI/CO, S/4HANA and/or legacy) and Treasury Management Systems (ideally Quantum), complemented by experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of financial instrument accounting (IFRS; HGB as a plus) and Treasury risk concepts, combined with experience in data environments (e.g., Snowflake is a plus).
- Strong process and control mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies, and business fluency in English (German is an advantage).
