A Snapshot of Your Day 

Reporting to the Global Director of Sales – Distribution Transformers, you will lead the regional EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) sales organization for Distribution Transformers. 
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the regional sales strategy in EMEA, ensuring the goals and guidelines of our execution units are met; all of which will lead to profitable growth and business success across the whole DT portfolio.  
You will build and lead an enthusiastic team, manage their targets and priorities, and support them whilst they influence the short, medium, and long-term buying and business strategies of our customers. You will drive and facilitate all related sales activities locally collaborating extensively with the related Sales functions and Factories for potential cross country / vertical opportunities, ensuring to do so with a highly efficient setup. 
Not only are you accountable for the financial results according to set targets, but you are also consistently striving to exceeding them, successfully leading the team to reach an OE of ~400 Mio EUR. 
You will ensure a flawless order implementation process locally, ranging from handover up to warranty finalization whilst maximizing customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Positions the organization as a strategic partner with all customers and sales channels to deliver mutually profitable business solutions
  • Leadership of the regional sales organization across EMEA for the DT portfolio, and function as the primary DT interface to all contacts, providing market and competitive intelligence to the organization
  • Develop customer loyalty and satisfaction on a sustainable basis and penetrate new market verticals with potential for long term growth 
  • Ensuring understanding, cascading, and effective communication of the regional business strategy within the organization
  • Drive customer focus within the organization and initiate / contribute to planning of customer related product development measures, or the setup of customer related projects
  • Enable a high-performing culture focusing on learning and continuous improvement, with an engaged and motivated workforce
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering, Master’s degree or MBA preferred; Business or related field with relevant sales management experience in Distribution Transformer equipment, solutions, and service with a short to medium duration sales cycle and a deep understanding of the DT market
  • Deep understanding of DT Market and business models as well as international experience (multiple geographical locations) that translates into the ability to work in and with different cultures
  • Very strong communication skills with extensive experience in interacting with internal and external executive management on complex technical, commercial and customer issues
  • Experience with sales planning, CRM utilization and business forecasting 
  • Experience and proven track record in people management including managing of managers, further versatile interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own time effectively to achieve targets, particularly in a multi stakeholder environment
  • Willingness to travel regionally and on occasion globally to support the needs of the business and our customers
  • High business results orientation that allows you to steer virtual teams coupled with excellent communication skills towards a structured, analytical, and responsible way of working
  • Skills to organize effectively, delegate responsibility and solve problems quickly
