As Finance Controller you will be responsible to manage and perform the financial tasks of a business, including performance and operational controlling in SE Singapore Grid Technologies Service Business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and coordinate in management of budgeting/forecasting and actual reporting, including deviations and corrective measures / actions.
• Gather and analyze cost reports, allocations, ensuring accuracy of books
• Drive process optimization and digitalization / automation in your area of responsibility and foster continuous improvements to increase e.g. cost transparency and accuracy
• Responsible for clarifying, elaborating and optimizing all relevant commercial issues, such as analyzing and commenting on contracts, including legal aspects, determining the business model (NCM, consortium, subcontractor, split contract), preparation of relevant documents, tax concept, insurance, currency issues, compliance, ECC, cash flow, review of NDA/ MoU etc
• Support in preparation of legal and commercial conditions of offers and contracts with clients, attend contract negotiations, maintaining relationships with the Sales Team in region and global functions.
• Provide governance on commercial project management to project controllers, ensuring their active contribution to project execution and support of project managers in recurring tasks
• Supports the Project Manager (PM) that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
• Proactive quality management in reporting and ensure strict compliance with corporate guidelines and standards.

What You Bring

• Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting.
• More than 5 years of working experience
• Team-orientation and ability to work with cross-functional, cross-regional teams
• Highly motivated and proactive, with excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with high interpersonal skills (team player, negotiation skills, leadership skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation).
• Eye for business, sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional English required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
• Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture.
• Solid knowledge on international trade, accounting & finance, contract law
