We are looking for a Hands-On Mechanical Technician for Service on Steam Turbines and Generators worldwide.

Execution of the different mechanical tasks and activities during the maintenance of the Large Steam turbines and Generators installed in different countries.

• Execute High-Quality Maintenance: Perform hands-on mechanical tasks with precision during the maintenance and installation of steam turbines and generators, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Enhance Technical Expertise: Leverage your experience with steam turbines and generators to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, contributing to reduced downtime and improved service delivery.
• Promote Safety and Quality Standards: Commit to health and safety protocols and quality assurance practices, fostering a safe working environment for yourself and your team during field service operations.
• Facilitate Effective Communication: Collaborate with international and multi-culturally diverse teams, ensuring clear communication and teamwork to achieve project goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Adapt to Global Challenges: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide, adapting to various working conditions and cultural environments to support Siemens Energy’s global operations.

What You Bring 

●      Hands-On Mechanical Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a mechanical technician, specifically in maintenance and installation tasks.

●      Fluent English Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, enabling effective communication and comprehension of technical documentation.

●      Steam Turbine and Generator Knowledge: Solid understanding of Siemens steam turbines and generators, enhancing technical expertise in the field.

●      Technical Drawing Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, ensuring accurate execution of mechanical tasks.

●      Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer software and tools relevant to mechanical maintenance and documentation.

●      Willingness to Travel: Open to extensive travel and flexible working arrangements, adapting to various global locations.
