A Snapshot of Your Day

Field Service Manager with two main roles: Outage Planning / Scheduling / Resource Management for Long Term Service Agreement, O&M, open market service projects for large steam turbines, gas turbines and local engineer's development (soft/ technical skills).

This position collaborates with the Service Office Manager in Argentina.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Coordinate with other DSOs to Line up & secure lead outage personnel in advance
  • Dispatch own personnel & those from other locations/regions. Finalize commitment.
  • Primary customer interface for FS scope & FS marketing, as well as liaison for M&U / other scope through TSM process, outage planning, etc. Quote services, consumables and tooling. Review all FS related cost estimates.
  • Lead Customer Exception process (when customer elects not to follow recommendations or requirements) - document exception and discuss with customer to ensure customer is aware of risks to unit performance, reliability, availability.
  • QEHS Standards & Processes; Performance Metrics: Report NCCs & use of QISs
  • Local Engineers: Development, Training, Qualification, and retention of own resources. Maintain detailed info on capabilities. Developing training plans & training personnel. Classroom & OJT. Maintains knowledge base and career development plans for FS engineers with their proficiencies & identified future skills/progression.

What You Bring

  • Engineering degree (preferable)
  • Requires, more than 10 years (must) extensive knowledge of the power train maintenance from a technical perspective
  • Must be able to travel out-of-city and work away from home base up to 20% of the time
  • English language level Proficient (must): Must have adequate language skills for day-to-day communication, trainings/ certifications in English language. Using standard business English to compile information and prepare written documents on paper, computers, or adaptive devices.
  • Interpersonal skills: Works optimally with others from a diverse group of backgrounds, demonstrate respect for coworkers’ colleagues and clients.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
