A Snapshot of Your Day

You start your day by reviewing the maintenance schedule and coordinating with the Siemens Energy Site Team and customer representatives to ensure all required parts are available and organized. You prepare and label parts packages for specific work scopes, verify inventory levels, and track any missing or non-refurbish-able components. Throughout the day, you may visit the tool facility to restock consumables, assist technicians with parts identification, and document all inventory movements. You’ll often be on-site at power plants or construction areas, navigating dynamic environments and occasionally supporting international projects. Your day ends with updating reports and coordinating with the back office to expedite parts returns and prepare for the next phase of the outage.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Arrange all Parts Inventory at Customer Sites before, during, and after maintenance outages by implementing an inventory control system and preparing Parts packages for individual work scopes; collaborate with Siemens Energy Site Team, Project Management (Korea and international), and Customer personnel.
  • Collaborate with personnel cleaning disassembly hardware to refill non-refurbish able parts and track replacements; work independently or with SE technicians/sub-contractors to complete inventory preparation; organize and expedite parts return with Back Office and coordinate with HQ for fast return.
  • Support Site team with restocking site consumables from Tool Facility or supply base during outages; document work performed, including reports and datasheets; perform tasks in difficult environments (e.g., construction sites, power plants) with potential for international assignments.

What You Bring

  • A technical qualification related to industrial activities is required (minimum of a technical college certificate with vocational training), along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Parts inventory management or material control for maintenance work or project construction sites.
  • Must have basic English capability (written and spoken) to read and understand user documentation; fluent in Korean and legally permitted to work in South Korea; valid driver’s license and car required for independent site travel.
  • Qualifications and experience with forklift are desirable (training provided if unfamiliar); understanding of material standards and specifications used to identify mechanical assembly parts is essential.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, global attitude, intercultural sensitivity, and ability to work with teams and collaborators around the globe; willingness to travel and work different shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • This is a field-based assignment; candidate must reside in Korea and travel from home to field assignments as required.
