The shift you will be supporting will be 12am-8am. As the supervisor, you will start your day an hour prior to shift start to perform a shift turnover with the 1st shift supervisor. You will lead daily toolbox meetings at the start of shift each day, focusing on Safety, Quality and assignments for the shift. At times, you may find it necessary to assist your employees in completing a task. If any of the areas need assistance, you would help them or call for help as needed. It is important that you be visible on the floor to make sure things run efficiently. You will be expected to perform safety observations and provide positive coaching to get the operators to not only enforce to safe working practices but empower them to coach other employees.
