A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our Grid Technologies Transformer business as the driving force behind environmental, health, and safety excellence. You'll shape safety culture across the organization, bringing your expertise in HOP, Safety Culture Ladders, and behavior-based safety to evolve how our teams think about and practice safety every day. Working at the intersection of sustainability and operations, you'll partner with our carbon neutral team to track and implement initiatives that move us toward our environmental goals. Your work within our Zero Harm framework directly supports our ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications while making a tangible difference in how safely our people work.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Advise leadership on internal and external EHS requirements, providing clear guidance on regulatory compliance and closing gaps to meet Siemens Energy standards
  • Drive safety culture evolution by leading initiatives rooted in human and organizational performance principles, coaching teams on high-risk activities including cranes and lifting, machine guarding, energy isolation, and working at height
  • Support sustainability goals by coordinating with the carbon neutral team and tracking implementation of environmental activities and reporting across our transformer factories
  • Lead root cause analysis of EHS events, track corrective actions to completion, and report incident statistics with data-driven insights that inform continuous improvement
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through regular engagement with the Grid Technologies Transformer leadership team and the broader EQS community, promoting lessons learned and best practices across sites
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a technical background in engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, or a comparable field, paired with relevant years of EHS experience in manufacturing—ideally within Grid Technologies or a similar product business
  • Hands-on expertise with EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) and methodological skills such as auditing and root cause investigation; certification as a specialist for occupational safety is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to conduct workshops, assessments, coaching sessions, and incident investigations that build capability and accountability across teams
  • Strong written English skills and openness to intercultural collaboration; German, Portuguese, or Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Occasional travel is required to support our international operations
