We are seeking a proactive and innovative Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and leading various aspects of product development, from initial concept through to productionisation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and strong collaboration skills to drive the development of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

In this role, your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing design requirements, creating and optimizing product designs using CAD software, conducting simulations and testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You'll also participate in project meetings, present your work to stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your contributions will directly impact the success of our product development efforts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring
  • Proficiency in design software (2D & 3D CAD) and file management tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
  • Good understanding of Engineering Principles.
  • Basic understanding of Product Testing.
  • Demonstrated experience in product design and engineering.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Expertise in executing complex development projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of design, testing, and optimisation processes and tools.
  • Good understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with analytical skills.
  • Effective leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
