Reporting to the Commercial Team Leader, this role will be a vital part of the dynamic Siemens Energy sales team. You will assume responsibility for all commercial aspects of negotiation of customer contracts, plus tenders, quotations, and offers for the Grid Technology portfolios in Siemens Energy. The successful applicant will join our existing team at our Melbourne or Brisbane offices. You will enjoy being part of a vibrant sales environment and be able to apply your experience in negotiating contracts to provide our products, solutions and services across a range of energy technologies.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Contract Negotiation with Customers: Leading contract negotiation of terms and conditions with customers within our contractual risk profile, including drafting mark-ups and amendments.
• Commercial/Financial oversight - Providing commercial, financial and contractual advice for offers and tenders.
• Stakeholder Management - Close collaboration with stakeholders such as in-house legal counsel, tendering team, sales executives, technical team, procurement managers, and senior management, as well as the company wide sales commercial team.

What You Bring

• Degree in one of the following disciplines: Law, Business or Commerce.
• Previous role in commercial or legal environment. Exposure to areas such as tendering, project management, sales, marketing or service will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication, negotiation, drafting and presentation skills.
• Experience in the Energy sector will be highly regarded though not essential.
