A Snapshot of Your Day: As Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the local commercial and financial bid preparation for long-term maintenance contracts as well as open market for gas and steam turbines in Poland. You will be doing this in close cooperation with the Sales Project Manager. Your focus areas will be cost calculation, risk, tax set up and local law requirements. In this role you will be in direct contact with the customer as well as a large variety of internal departments like supply chain management, insurance, tax, legal and logistics.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform the commercial preparation of offers to customers including negotiatons.
- Represent Siemens Energy during Bid negotiations and public auctions
- Ensure all related Order Reporting and Controlling activities like SFDC.
- Support the Sales Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the gross profit, cash flow and assets incl. certain financing instruments.
- Commercial support for local services and local share for complex offers.
- Align with HQ sales on overall sales strategies and product informations
- Pursue schedules for budget, forecast or KPI reporting, and corresponds with accountable line management.
- Compile data and information to report, to support Professionals and Controlling Management.
- Perform risk and claim management
- May carry out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
- Proven Financial Project/Sales Management experience at least 3 years
- Knowledge of IFRS and Poland accounting regulations
- Fluently communicates with both team members and management during the project lifecycle.
- Build and work with cross-functional/ international teams (HUB, Headquarters, etc.)
- Skills: analysis ability, accuracy, good communication and interaction ability with both internal and external stakeholders
- Tools: Proficiency in Excel, experience with ERP (ideally SAP)
- Languages: Perfect command of Polish and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiar with rules and regulations – Compliance, ECC, NCM, RIC.
