A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Marketing Professional you are a main contributor to grow the service business by leading the commercialization process of new Siemens Energy service products. You play a central role in the communication workflow to ensure the safety of our customers and to avoid litigations in case of incidents. You are the key contact person for the communication strategy of product safety topics, developing relevant product warning documents and aligning with involved partners. This also includes communicating mitigation and/or solutions to an identified potentially hazardous situation to our customers. You are centrally coordinating the commercialization of complex products which includes development of customer facing sales collaterals and marketing materials, to familiarize our customers to new service offerings, supporting our sales teams with appropriate storylines.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Develop customer facing marketing material which introduces and explains the service offering and its value proposition to our customer’s decision makers
  • Create Product Safety Warnings that advise customers of mandatory updates to their unit to prevent life and health hazards or severe equipment damage
  • Produce accompanying internal communication with additional commercial and technical details intended to help those facing the customer explain the offering, get it quoted, and implemented upon a customer order
  • Lead and facilitate global discussions with technical, commercial, and sales partners, to identify and quantify the customer value and need for new service offerings
  • Coordinate with the appropriate organizations (engineering, supply management, parts, field service, LTP, warranty, etc.) to ensure offering can be quoted and completed
  • Facilitate and contribute to the development of a commercial strategy for implementation on units in warranty or involved in service programs etc.
What You Bring
  • University degree or equivalent experience in business administration, Economic or Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proven record of long years’ experience in the area of product safety and/or product development or similar environment
  • Ability to quickly understand complex systems, such as those found in a power plant, and explain them in simple terms, as well as ability to manage and drive multiple small projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and ability to see things from a customer perspective, and write a good story, which is clear, detailed, and can stand on its own
  • A curiosity about learning new digital tools and finding new ways to present information to Siemens Energy customers
  • Full Business proficiency in English and German

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
