A Snapshot of your day

This position is an addition to the EHS, Quality, and Security team within the Switchgears Jundiaí facility, requested to ensure business continuity. The role focuses on upholding and enhancing the quality standards of suppliers integral to the switchgear manufacturing process, aligning with the P2 Experienced Professional level. To achieve this, the role is structured around two primary areas: Supplier Quality Management and Process & Compliance Assurance. This approach ensures a dedicated focus on both managing external supplier performance and maintaining adherence to internal and external quality standards, directly supporting the operational integrity of the supply chain. Given the focus on supplier oversight and process control, the ideal candidate will possess practical experience in supplier quality management within a manufacturing setting. Essential qualifications include a background in engineering, proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, and demonstrated skills in root cause analysis and auditing against standards like ISO 9000.

How you’ll make an impact

60% Supplier Quality Management & Development

Manage and develop suppliers to ensure adherence to Siemens Energy's quality standards, policies, and contractual agreements.

Lead the resolution of supplier quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.

Identify, evaluate, and certify new or alternative suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks and support new product development.

Provide guidance and training to suppliers on quality protocols and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance their performance.

40% Process Assurance & Auditing

Conduct regular supplier audits to verify compliance with ISO 9000, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.

Monitor, analyze, and report on key supplier performance metrics, driving improvement initiatives based on data.

Collaborate with internal teams to apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new components and processes.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of supplier performance, audits, and quality-related documentation in systems like SAP.

Certifications

Six Sigma Green Belt

Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Production) or a related technical field.

Proven experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or a related role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
