A Snapshot of Your Day

In Siemens Gamesa, as an Advanced Troubleshooter your main responsibility is to provide support to commissioning and services field team on complex failures, involving all windturbine systems as power converter, generator, control systems, transformer and HV switchgear. By actively participating in technical forums and maintaining proactive communication with regional teams, you will ensure a seamless knowledge transfer and shared best practices, ultimately contributing to product quality improvements and the successful resolution of L2 cases.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  1. Take the initiative in investigating complex technical issues, leading the development and deployment of effective solutions that improve system performance and reliability.
  2. Actively promote and facilitate collaboration among critical functions, including Technical Engineering (TE), prototypes, quality assurance, and regional teams, ensuring a unified approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  3. Take ownership of complex issues from start to finish, coordinating efforts across teams to ensure timely and effective resolution, ultimately improving operational efficiency and product quality.

What You Bring

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to own the change. We are also looking for:

  • A minimum of a technical degree in an electrical field is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of wind turbine generator (WTG) systems is essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the wind industry, specifically in technical roles, is necessary.
  • Proven knowledge of high voltage (HV) systems, including transformers and switchgear, is a must.
  • Strong English communication skills (B2+) and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a multicultural environment are crucial.
  • Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work under minimal supervision while managing tight deadlines and pressure.
