A typical day as an HVDC Hub Operations Manager at Siemens Energy is dynamic and impactful. You will oversee the performance of the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, ensuring projects are delivered flawlessly and on time. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, providing exceptional service to our customers and contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions. You will work in a collaborative, world-class team environment that values innovation and determination.


How You’ll Make an Impact

Manage the O&M HVDC hub team to achieve or surpass gross margin and EBIT targets.
Lead and develop a hard-working team, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business performance and profitability.
Ensure accurate completion of contract reviews, aligning with governance, compliance, and contractual requirements.
Deliver operational updates, reviews, and amendments of processes, procedures, and systems.
Support the development of Siemens Energy's HV safety rules from a hub perspective, ensuring all activities adhere to EQHS policies and zero harm principles.
Interface between site operations and Business ISO systems, particularly ISO55000, ensuring policies and procedures are fit for site delivery.
Act as the primary liaison for all customer matters, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and business continuity.


What You Bring

Equivalent experience in an Engineering-related field; a Diploma/Masters in management is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role, preferably within the Electricity Transmission & Distribution Industry.
Proven experience in SAP duties, project and contract management, with a strong commercial and financial competence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a particular strength in negotiation.
Knowledge of CDM Regulations, current H&S legislation, and risk management processes.
IT literacy, including proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
Understanding of High Voltage standards and technologies; experience in primary and secondary electrical maintenance, construction, and design is desirable.
