A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Accounting Specialist Cash&Banks, you will be part of the operational accounting team in the global Competence Centre and make an important contribution to ensuring the high quality of our financial statements. Through global accounting process management and the continuous improvement, harmonization and digitalization of our payment processes, you will help to make them future-proof and efficient.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Running and monitoring daily cash and bank transactions
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of bank accounts
  • Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
  • Collaborating closely with internal and external partners to clarify payment issues
  • Supporting the implementation and optimization of processes and tools in the area of cash management
  • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations
  • Preparation and support for internal and external audits

What You Bring

  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on cash and banks
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and cash management
  • Experience in working with ERP systems, preferably SAP and MS Office
  • Analytical skills and a detailed way of working
  • Strong communication and partnership skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

We are an expert team specializing in cash and bank transactions and foreign currency accounting, particularly for financial instruments. We work closely with our colleagues in the projects and other finance departments.
