We are a world leader in the design and manufacture of subsea electrical and fibre optic connectors used in the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors. Our subsea connectors support companies to maximise performance in a sustainable and efficient way that will reduce environmental impact.

Our state-of-the-art facility in Ulverston, situated 10 minutes from the Lake District, offers an idyllic working environment, with remote working options also available, based on the business need. The factory is undertaking an ambitious digital transformation to help increase competitiveness and productivity to deliver more innovative products and services to our customers. 

Whilst we have a fantastic flexible working policy, the role will be based at our Ulverston facility where there will be a need to work on a regular basis.
We are looking for an individual who relishes the challenge of supporting the service delivery and lifecycle management of software / technology-based products. This is a highly varied role requiring the successful candidate to become a subject matter expert in several platforms, tools and product solutions.

Your profile

Ideally experienced in ITIL or equivalent service management best practice approach.
Ideally experience of service delivery platforms and tools.
Experience of a broad range of Application Support activities. 
Experience of gathering user feedback and business requirements. Will ideally have developed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Track record of managing time, prioritising workload and working independently. 
Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the business and beyond. 
A strong technical aptitude, quick to acquire product/technical expertise. 
Highly motivated & quality driven, keen to make things happen and apply creative solutions to improve the way we work.
Adaptable and flexible, responding positively to change. 

Your responsibilities

Support the Product Owners and Product Developers in undertaking proactive tasks around the systems lifecycle.
Serve as a subject matter expert & point-of-contact, providing outstanding levels of support to users.
Contribute to systems stability through proactive maintenance and support.
Assist with translation of business requirements to systems requirements.
Contribute to process improvement through analysis and recording of current state and identification of future state opportunities.
Educate and coach system users through one to one and group engagement and through the preparation of instruction material in collaboration with product experts.
Take the lead in the development, maintenance and support of a service delivery model for business systems and wider transformation process.
