Your profile

·       Tertiary qualification (Post-Graduation) in Engineering.

·       Proficiency in written and oral English

·       Minimum 10 years’ experience in Power generation business field (i.e., commercial, project management, proposals, application or erection and commissioning field), contract negotiations (dealing with power industry major products preferred - i.e., Steam Turbines, Boilers, Compressor, pumps, heat exchangers, construction.

·       Experience in guiding other team members and regional co-ordination of activities will be an added advantage.

·       Setting high standards and monitoring progress towards goals; tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals; defining success by goal achievement and continuous improvement.

·       Using One's knowledge of economic, market and industry trends to understand and improve individual and/or organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive sustainable profitable growth.

·       Capable of working in a multinational and multicultural team. And Regional working experience is a strong asset.

Your responsibilities:

The areas of responsibilities cover the following:

·       Responsible to profitably sell industrial steam turbines in Asia Pacific, securing supply contracts within the existing LOA guidelines

·       This includes development and managing of projects from pre-acquisition activities up to handover to the project execution team in the assigned territory.

·       Contribute to increase the Siemens Energy market share in this Business segment.

·       International Sales role covering the complete ISP portfolio for the assigned territory in the Asia Pacific Region.

·       The Local/ Field Sales (New Org Code – Hub Sales) of the respective countries report to the Sales Manager for ISP projects  

·       Contribute & Co-ordinate ( from the region itself) as technical expert to fulfill customer demands and reduce dependency on the factories.

·       Sales of Industrial Steam Turbines in the assigned territory in Asia Pacific by building long-term and trusted business

·       Responsible for direct customer engagement, managing proposal works and obtaining management approvals (LoA’s).

·       Leading the discussions throughout the bidding phase including clarifications, negotiations until contract closure

·       Key Player and taking forward the ISP Growth Initiatives (FPSO, Extended scope, WtE, Replacement, SST 300 / 200 PD)

·       Ensure that the Technical and Commercial proposals meet SE standards for quality, completeness, and timeliness in response to client inquiries.

·       In-charge to build the project pipeline and develop the rolling forecast process for the responsible countries in due consultation with the Local/ Field Sales (New Org Code – Hub Sales).

·       Timely & accurately update the data in the Sales Force and ensure all the processes (like LOA's approvals) are in place as per the defined guidelines.

·       Responsible for creating the conceptual solutions, develop unique selling propositions & implement the sales strategies.

·       Manage cross functional team to ensure project success (like Cost Outs, Bench Marking, Vendor Development, Optimized solutions) within stipulated times.

·       Substitute and Support the Proposal community in case of Manpower constraints in order to fulfill the customers’ expectations and improve customer intimacy.
