A Snapshot of Your Day

Support Global Order Management strategies and drive digitalization and automatization for Order Management, purchasing supply and shipping processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Towards the team:

• Co-Develop a service-focused Global Order Management Organization by being involved in the recruitment and integration process of new joiners

• Provide motivation and leadership while coordinating a team of around +15 employees

• Offer permanent support and information on all aspects to the team

• Monitor and conduct periodic reviews on team’s performance

• Gather transparency on current load and resources across the Order Management and proceed with a balanced allocation strategy

Towards the job:

• Support Global Order Management strategies

• Implement global footprint decisions for Order Management functions
• Identify best practices in operations and foster process harmonization across functions

• Manages escalations and complex cases with regards to the daily activity
• Drive digitalization and automatization for Order Management, purchasing supply and shipping processes
• Support multi-skilling and job enlargement as well as cross collaboration within Global Order Management and beyond
• Foster innovation, growth and cost savings across functional groups
• Identify, standardize and generate transparency on operational KPIs

Towards the customers:

• Represents the team in front of Channel Partners on different topics

• Conduct regular feedback sessions with our Partners to make sure the team is delivering high standard services

• Be proactive in identifying our customers’ needs

• Identify possible issues and act on improvement strategies

Towards the direct manager:

• Understand the Vision and act in achieving the big Goal given by the Head of the Department

• Act as liaison in between the team and higher management by offering permanent perspective and information to both sides

• Offer support to the Head of the Department with regards to the implementation of different strategies, projects, SOPs, etc. as well in regard to the organization of different events, activities, etc.

What You Bring 

• Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Experience / proven skills in job area & leading people (budget, repairs & production, order management, project management, global safety laws & regulations, people management, etc.)
• Advanced experience in driving transformation and culture change in challenging environment coupled with an agile mindset
• Experience in project/ order management and cost center management activities
• Professional experience in ERP (e.g. SAP) and related processes/ interfaces of Order Management
• Experience in execution of mid-size to large-scale, international projects and basic knowledge of the accounting policies and procedures
• Hands on experience in managing productivity, profitability, growth and customer relationship
• Working experience in an intercultural environment and the ability to travel time by time globally
• Experience in Marketing and Sales or operations for non-consumer services and products
• Knowledge about developing, coaching and motivation of self-organized teams
• Fluent professional English language skills, German is a plus
• Excellent team skills and leadership capabilities with effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to blend in a cross collaborating working team
• Pro-active, astute and assertive in propagating excellent project delivery and quality initiatives
• Conceptual thinking, analytical competence and skills of problem recognition and problem solving
