About the Role
- Design, implement, and maintain HVDC and FACTS control systems
- Analyze and resolve complex system engineering issues
- Ensure system functionality through rigorous testing and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new features
- Utilize advanced software for control and protection of HVDC and FACTS projects
- Leverage cloud technologies for automated simulations and define best practices in Matlab/Simulink
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- First professional experience with HVDC or FACTS Control Systems is highly preferred
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Matlab and Python and System Engineering expertise with tools such as Simulink or PSCAD
- Experience with software engineering tools and methods such as Git and Scrum/Kanban
- Strong communicator and collaborator with excellent self-organization, active listening, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Very good English language skills, German language skills are of advantage
