A Snapshot of Your Day 

You will be an integral part of our Sustainability team and help shaping the energy transition. You will enable us to create transparency on our ESG performance by ensuring the availability of ESG data, supporting the publication of our annual Sustainability Report and providing input to the most relevant ESG-Ratings. You enjoy working with both people and data to bring us on the next level of Sustainability management. Tangible and measurable impact guide your mindset as a result driven professional.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Responsible for the availability and quality of performance indicators for non-financial external reporting, e.g. as part of the annual sustainability report or non-financial corporate reporting.
  • Respond to ESG ratings and rankings (e.g. CDP, ISS ESG, MSCI, Sustainalytics, EcoVadis) to position Siemens Energy as a sustainable company.
  • Support the development of today’s ESG data management towards a holistic automated ESG data landscape 
  • Identify and assess climate and ESG risks in the Enterprise Risk Management and report climate risks along TCFD framework
  • Observation and evaluation of business-related sustainability trends (especially related to non-financial reporting) and implementation of relevant content (e.g. reporting regulations, EU Taxonomy, sustainable financing...).
  • Collaboration with external and internal stakeholders, such as investors, customers, corporate functions

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in non-financial reporting and expertise in managing non-financial data; good knowledge of regulatory frameworks, in particular GRI, SASB, DRS 20 and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
  • Experience in sustainability management along the entire value chain (procurement, own operations and portfolio)
  • Good understanding of sustainability trends and developments, such as legislative initiatives (CSRD) or emerging (quasi-)standards   
  • Experience in auditing by external auditors
  • Proven project management skills in cross-functional teams
  • Intercultural competence in working with the international sustainability network in the business units, regions and functions
  • Ability to cooperate in a team, customer orientation (internal and external) as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills 
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and German
