For our Transformation of Industry Business Unit in Ankara, we are looking for a Steam Turbine Field Service Supervisor who will be responsible for executing the required service activities during outages for our steam turbine fleet.

What are my responsibilities?

Performing all minor / major and preventive maintenances works on Siemens Energy Industrial Steam Turbines
Site preparation such as preparation and check of tools, parts and equipment required for the work execution
Leading site activities, controlling technicians and coordination other subcontractors
Ensure documenting of site activities by preparation of daily reports, field service reports, finding records and measurement protocols
Performs day to day activities as part of a team or independently on duties as assigned
Effectively identifies technical problems as they occur and takes appropriate actions to resolve including escalation of more complex issues to a higher level, providing expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians of customers
Develop strong relationships and interface with our customers as well as counterparts in Türkiye and regional headquarters
Comply with the Siemens Energy standard EHS guidelines and quality standards
Actively support with post outage activities such as lesson learn documentation, manpower survey and feedback on demand

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
3 years of experience in field service environment
Experience working with rotating equipment on steam turbines
Experience working at Power Plant is preferred
General profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with/based on technical documentation
Strong analytical skills with an affinity to technology and innovation in the service industry combined with a proactive and convincing attitude
Knowledge of and working experience with rotating equipment especially steam turbines would be an asset
Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken in English

What else do I need to know?

Military service should have been completed for male candidates
In case of necessity to work on public holidays/weekend
Flexible for travelling about 70% yearly
Based in Ankara is an asset, but not mandatory remote location is also possible
