How You’ll Make an Impact 

As Project Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for management of transportation and logistics for both domestic and international projects from proposal to execution phase.  This includes estimation, planning, and execution of all modes of transportation, including ocean, rail, air, barge, and heavy haul.  

Prepare transportation proposals and responsible for transport execution for Domestic and international large scale power plant projects.
Interface with Sales, Proposal Management, Purchasing and Engineering disciplines to determine Project Proposal logistics scope and strategy.
Obtain and evaluate carrier bids to select the best cost and service options in support of Project Proposals.
Observe domestic and international transportation market trend and assist in incorporating new service providers and/or technologies into the logistics portfolio.
Mentor and help improve in-depth logistics knowledge of co-colleagues.
Support management in development and improvement in TLO / PLS process.
Provide Transportation Estimates for project bids based on equipment sourcing, expected shipping volumes, project schedule, locations, and delivery terms. 
Coordinate general transport concept with project management to ensure that transport operations are trouble free and cost effective.
Ensure that transport execution meets contractual requirements over the course of project execution.
Identify the area of improvement to ensure continuous process improvement.
Coordinate project shipments with transportation service providers to meet project schedule requirements and budgets.
What You Bring 

5-10 years of progressive logistics and transportation experience in supporting a global commercial EPC, Power firm, or project forwarder/carrier.
Bachelor’s degree.
Bilingual in Chinese and English is preferred.
Demonstrated success and depth of experience in project management, preparation and execution of all modes of transportation.
Demonstrated experience with domestic and international logistics regulations and safety standards.
Demonstrated experience in planning and execution of complex heavy haul transportation. 
Demonstrated ability to work within teams.
In-depth knowledge in regards to preferential trade agreement documentation, letters of credit, manifests, and various transportation documents such as ocean bills of lading and AWB.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely information or data to non-technical associates, peers, and management. 
Demonstrated knowledge in Incoterms.
Experience within project logistics service providers. 
Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups. 
Attention to detail.
