A snapshot of your day

We are searching a Senior Network Architect, with demonstrated experience in all networking topics, who will support the seamless interworking of an organization’s network systems.

Dependent on the consuming audience (e.g. Business, Management, Experts) solutions will be developed to support specific requirements.

Key technologies are SD-WAN, LAN/WiFi, cloud connectivity, Zscaler products ZIA, ZPA.

Knowledge about strategies (e.g. Gartner SASE) is vital to support security policies.

Strong analytics are crucial for designing highly automated solutions and processes in the context of use cases.

Education and experience

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field as well as minimum 4 years of experience working within a similar position, in a multinational company.

What you bring

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or CCENT are a plus
  • Ability to transform Business ideas into technical feasible solutions
  • Familiar with major cloud providers (Google, Azure, AWS...)
  • Strong knowledge in IP address structure (IPv4 & IPv6)
  • Routing and Network protocol expertise
  • Solid understanding of ISO/OSI Reference model
  • Extensive knowledge of network operations and systems (preferably Cisco & Juniper)

Your responsibilities

  • Manage technical network solutions and frameworks (SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN)
  • Accompany all phases from design, proof of concept, piloting until handover to operation
  • Perform network planning, modeling, and analysis
  • Design, implement and manage security countermeasures when network vulnerabilities arise
  • Analyse, engineer, and implement software functions
  • Create reports on network performance and potential new technology
  • Develop and deliver professional proposals and design documentation
  • Manage technology vendors
  • Design and implement Cloud architecture
  • Consider information security when designing networks
  • Collaborate with the organization’s management to identify the network needs of the company
  • Must be able to learn new computer programs as required to perform job duties
