Secondary Engineer LCC specialist
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Secondary Engineer / LCC specialist is responsible for the design and development of control schematics for local control cabinets for Gas Isolated Substations, performed since the first submittal for customer review, going through manufacturing support, testing support and finishing with the generation of the cabinets As-built. Use of AutoCAD electrical es a daily activity.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop protection and control design for electrical substation projects.
- Design the control drawings for the development of all the stages of the project life.
- Prepare specification & Bill of Material for GIS local control cabinets.
- Develop Panel layouts and wiring diagrams for GIS local control cabinets.
- Design and support manufacturing work in accordance with the contract specifications, functionality and customer requirements, safety requirements and applicable technical regulations.
- Factory Acceptance Test supports GIS local control cabinets.
What You Bring
- University degree: Electrical engineer, Control and automation engineer or Communications engineer.
- 2 years of experience working in the design of control schematics and familiarized with the application of the IEC and ANSI standards.
- ‘AutoCAD electrical’ knowledge.
- Fluent English Language and ability of work in great independence focused on customer requirements.
- Work team ability, easy to follow instructions and proactive.
