Your Profile

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in sales and marketing with Arabic language as a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of the High Voltage EPC Substation business
  • Record of success in major product and system sales with proven track record within the industry
  • Wide ranging commercial and contractual experience including end-to-end bid management.
  • Track record of excellent communications & influencing skills
  • Good knowledge / experience of Siemens corporate culture and motivations.
  • Good understanding of the Transmission market.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively to achieve targets, particularly in a multi stakeholder environment.

Your Responsibilities

To secure Siemens Transmission Solutions will be achieved by continually expanding its market presence and fully exploiting its product portfolio and the capability of a product and system offering across transmission voltages.

The role will require taking full responsibility for achieving Saudi Arabia’s sales targets for the agreed EPC Solutions portfolio by defining customer propositions that add real value to the customers business. You will be expected to engage our customers to influence their short, medium and long term buying and business strategies. This role requires technical knowledge across the full spectrum of the transmission products and Solutions portfolio, particularly at 132, 230 and 400kV high voltage substation classes. You will be ultimately responsible for being the technical and commercial face of the projects and closing the deal with the customer.

For this role we are looking for someone with strong electrical distribution and transmission sales experience to cover Saudi Arabia.

  • Secure a significant share of the transmission products market segments within the allocated regional area and beyond when needed.
  • Deliver excellent customer service & monitor customer satisfaction levels.
  • Develop ‘Go to Market’ channel approach through sound market intelligence and understanding of Siemens solution portfolio, and innovation.
  • Keep appraised of competitor approaches & offerings, including intelligence on reputation, capability, customer base, products & promotions in order to devise successful sales strategies & tactics to achieve our business objectives.
  • Creation of opportunity “Win strategies”, defining customer spend strategy, competitive environment and identifying fiscal new orders and business development requirements.
  • Maintain adequate reporting of sales opportunities and customer information, ensure accuracy of CRM – Salesforce system
  • Product Launches, marketing campaigns & promotions within your region that will result in maximum sales growth.
  • Ensure clear communication strategy at all levels of the Customers/Market and internally when required.
  • Responsible for overall order input budget and Business Development progress in your assigned region
  • Strategy & collaboration with other Siemens Sales colleagues to maximize product & system offerings.
  • Coordination with TP tendering / Operational delivery to ensure the project is successfully delivered to customer requirements. 
  • Strategy, collaboration & selection of Consultant & Developers for product placement in specifications and FEED studies.
  • Abide by all business compliance requirements in line with Company policies, for example Business Conduct Guidelines & Confidential Information.
