We are currently looking for a technical Sales specialist focus on Modernization & Upgrades Aftermarket Sales comprises Industrial Steam Turbine and Generators, including control systems upgrades.

The main objective of this position is to grow the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets for the Modernization and Upgrades of Industrial Steam Turbines and their associated Controls & Digitalization portfolio line including Controls, Digitalization and Service as key growth areas. This position supports the Industrial Service business across Spain, developing business with new and established customers. This person will be responsible for prospect/opportunity development and order entry both on Siemens Energy own fleet and oOEM equipment.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

·         Take the ownership of the whole sales process for Modernization and Upgrades opportunities within the PM000 (Lead Management) through to PM080 (Project Handover) and make necessary coordination with other involved parties to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.

·         Define Bid/Win Strategy and developing technical solutions to meet customer needs.

·         Responsible for the project bid clarification and negotiation with customer.

·         Establish and maintain the partnership with key customer.

·         Fulfill the sales target and excel the expectation.

·         Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with PM@Siemens methodology, within Siemens Energy process /LOA guidelines, and in a compliant and ethical manner.

·         Work together with relevant stakeholders in to influence customers: Stakeholder Management (Customers, Suppliers, Managers, Colleagues), effective communication Written & Verbal.

·         Collaborate and drive initiatives as required and to communicate with complete transparency to all team members and management, ensuring a key component of the sales process.

What You Bring

·         A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

·         >8 years in related experience preferably in International Oil & Gas / Industrial & Power Generation and Turbomachinery business. Control Systems i.e. turbomachinery controls design and applications experience is a plus.

·         Proven Sales and negotiation experience in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business environment. Has to be confident in front of a customer. Understanding of customer business drivers and process requirements

·         Willingness to have regular on-site customer visits.

·         Good communication skills in English and Spanish. German is a plus. Able to communicate fluently, collaborate with both internal and external customers with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence other teams to collaborate together.

·         Disciplined in planning, organizing, and structuring of resources. Also to be considered good analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinker, Entrepreneurial spirit.

·         Team player and able to communicate multiple levels of customers, peers and team members.

·         Cultural awareness and experience of working with individuals from different back grounds.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Knowledge of SFDC ( or a similar CRM application is a plus.

·         Ability to work in an accurate and structured way.

·         Capability to be self-supporting (able to work without supervision) and quickly learn new concepts.

·         EHS Knowledge and Quality mindset.
