About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
You'll start your day by providing essential secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Sales and senior staff, managing schedules, preparing meeting documents, and coordinating travel. Acting as a point of contact between the sales and bid management teams and the rest of the business, you'll ensure ensure smooth communication and coordination. Your day will involve handling routine correspondence, updating reports, coordinating meetings, and supporting bid administration. This dynamic role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist with administrative tasks for the Sales and Bid Management teams, including bid administration.
- Serve as liaison between the sales and bid management teams and the rest of the business, facilitating seamless communication, to support the bid process.
- Serve as an expert user and administrator of SalesForce.com, supporting the team.
- Manage diaries, prepare documents, coordinate meetings, handle correspondence, and process expense reports.
- Arrange travel, hotel, stationery, and catering expenses within agreed limits.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a role requiring high-level communication, confidentiality, and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first focus.
- Advanced knowledge of PC office applications and proficient in MS Office, spreadsheets, graphics, PowerPoint, and database programs.
- HNC/D in Business Administration or a similar qualification.
- Proactive approach to supporting senior management and sales teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks concurrently.
