About the Role
- You work together with your project team in an external customer project in category C and track the progress
- Your daily work includes management tasks and technical tasks
- You solve issues which arise and you drive active for improvements in your projects and daily working environment
- Leading the project team and ensures coordination with key stakeholders such as the client, partners, manufacturers, supplies and contractors
- Accountable for the delivery of the assigned tasks and deliverables of the project on schedule, within budget and at the required level of quality and EHS.
- Ensure risks are proactively identified, assessed, and managed to avoid negative impacts on the project.
- Manage scope changes in a systematic and controlled manner, assess their impact on project scope, schedule, budget and risks and take appropriate measures.
- Ensures a good working relationship between the project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations.
- University graduate in Electrical Engineering or similar education.
- Several years of professional experience in EPC project management and leading a project team.
- Project Management Certification
- Experience within the electric power industry and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services.
- Proven ability to work on projects as well as leading multidisciplinary and culturally varied teams in international projects as a project manager
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as leadership skills
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical or commercial issues to peers, clients and senior managers
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Fluent in English - both in writing and speaking (German it would be a plus)
- Ability to lead technical discussions and negotiations with customer, suppliers and contractors
