A Snapshot of Your Day

Management of contractual, commercial and performance relationships with service providers in a multi-provider environment, including processes and collaboration with internal customers (Product Owners)

Service Team EMEA, supporting also other APD teams in regard with processes and projects.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

                                                                                  

  • Periodically monitor KPIs, SLAs, performance levels in own responsibility areas, initiate review discussions with providers and stakeholders, define measures for improvement for poor performances, ensure and closely monitor their implementation and reporting.
  • Assessment of processes and dealing with their improvement, documentation and availability.
  • Support Provider Strategy, Tendering and Contract Management            .
  • Monitor provider obligations and SLA adherence. Good understanding and analysis of current contracts with respect to performance demands for own responsibility area.                                          
  • Execute provider governance according to framework and attrition monitoring of providers supporting the Service Team(s)
  • Foster Product Owners' (POs)/ providers' improvement of process (especially with Agile way of working). Support Agile Way of Working and new Operating Model principles with Product Owners and providers.
  • Analyze cost drivers for own responsibility services with service providers, evaluate optimum cost/performance levels, define and propose measures for cost savings where possible.
  • PO Proxy responsible for maximizing the value of the product, the work of the Development Team (ROI, product and business value, representing all stakeholders
  • As PO proxy, owning the Product Backlog and empowered to make decisions.
  • Manages requirements and expectations of all stakeholders, by maintaining the Product Backlog, continuously updating and prioritizing the Backlog (Backlog grooming) to be ready for the next sprint (Based on DoR)
  • Being available for the Development Team for questions on a daily basis, explaining Backlog Items to the Development Team.
  • Providing the Product Vision, by defining the scope and roadmap including release planning, mapping the User Stories to EPICs e.g. to have US mapped to business goals, including the Story mapping to customer journey (US -> Use cases).
  • Having good projects and change requests controlling from cost perspective and performance.
  • Value flow and budget and cost reporting.
  • Supporting the service manager(s) in activities in value flows and processes and responsible with managing communication to the customers, or audit related activities.
  • Managing input and flows in specific tools like SharePoint, Jira, ClarITy, SME etc.                                                       

What You Bring 

  • Expertise in Project Management, IT provider service management, Tendering and contract management.
  • Specific software applications knowledge: SharePoint, SAP, Jira.
  • Understands the needs of customers and other contractual partners.
  • Knows how to negotiate according to the situation.
  • Knows how to identify, describe, quantify, and assess risks.
  • Knows how to reduce complexity to the essence and how to review information and exploit opportunities.
  • Knows the market and the competition and understands the competition from a strategic and financial point of view.
  • Understands business models, strategies, finance and processes.

·     Knowledge of English language.
