Description
A Snapshot of Your Day
The mission of our Plant Process Engineer is to design and calculate water/steam power plant systems and auxiliary components (e.g., pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, valves, pipelines etc.).
How You'll Make an Impact
- System design (piping and instrumentation diagrams P&IDs) for balance of plant systems (e.g. water/steam cycle, cooling water, fuel supply, auxiliaries)
- Prepare affiliated documents e.g., operational concept, P&IDs, system descriptions, application of design- and calculation tools
- Describe corresponding system / plant operation, such as start-up and shut down concepts, safe operation under all operating conditions under guidance of a team lead.
- Prepare technical specifications and inquiry documentation
- Participate in engineering and optimization of interfaces
- Review contractors’ engineering
- Coordinate the preparation of customer documentation/O&M Manual
- Evaluate customer specifications
- Manage the Engineering Database (COMOS) workflow with other disciplines
- Programming of plant control system
- Design and calculate water/steam power plant systems and auxiliary components (e.g., pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, valves, pipelines etc.)
- Support site activities during construction and commissioning.
What You Bring
- College degree, preferably within the field of process engineering or renewable energy systems or equivalent combination of education and minimum 2 years’ experience in plant engineering/construction.
- Strategic orientation with knowledge of products and power plant components, services and markets of industrial power plant & Combined Heat and Power solution business.
- Willingness for training and further education in specific process engineering fields.
- Intercultural sensitivity, to work in (virtual) international team.
- Self-motivation with high energy drive and business sense.
- Capability of multitasking, with good organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process.
- Willingness for business travels with international contacts.
- Good skills working with databases preferably COMOS.
- Excellent written & spoken English skills.
