Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from a reputable university
  • At least having ten (10) years related work experience
  • Must have rotating equipment sales and/or capital project business development experience, preferably within the oil & gas industry and contract negations skills
  • Direct experience in the sales, application, or operation of engineered gas turbines, steam turbines, turbo compressors, and/or reciprocating compressors is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have a good understanding of machine design, thermodynamic principles, and compressor and or gas turbine performance application theory
  • Ability to communicate optimally both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations
  • Must be customer driven, hard worker and creative problem solver
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Excellent command of English

Your Responsibilities

  • Identifying business opportunities and sales channels
  • Identifying potential customers, understanding their order placement strategies and their decision makers and decision-making processes
  • Drawing up feasibility studies as the basis for Go-No Go decisions
  • Determining market price or the budget price for specific bids and projects
  • Crafting pre-qualification documents
  • Establish, intensify and lever long-term reliable relationships with customer
  • May act as a point of contact to customers in commercial matters and influences collaboration within the organization to secure customer support
  • Observing and analyzing the market, competitors and customers
  • Determining and ensuring the quality of market data and trends
  • Completes sales key reporting
  • Communicating market demands for the product portfolio team to the PLM process
  • Crafting marketing concepts, business plans and strategies
  • Establishing new business model according to market needs
  • Supporting the marketing and sales processes of the business unit and hub
  • Drive Digitalization for Siemens across Region countries.
  • Provides information for forecasts and planning using relevant tools
  • Contribute to the development of after-market business in the region
  • Apply and supervise Key Performance Indicators and target settings
  • Perform forecasting, reporting and win-loss analysis with bid team
  • Interaction between business unit / hub to update on different sales aspects
  • Drawing up bid-no-bid documentation and deciding jointly with bid management
  • Defining the bid structure, ensuring conformity of its contents with the defined strategy, and approval
  • Performing the Limit of Authority process in conformity with guidelines and in compliance with business unit regulations
  • Supporting and coordinating technical clarification of the bid until placement of the order
  • Prepare and coordinate and negotiate proposals in collaboration with bid management and other team members
  • Early recognition of potential risk and (major) business impact
  • Take ownership and report critical issues to management to avoid negative effect on business and to meet customer's needs
  • Work in joint cross-group effort of all internal business partners to build business solutions with the best economic results for both customer and Siemens Energy.

  • Liaise with planning authorities, planners and consultants for the new developments in Egypt (all verticals) and position Siemens offerings as the partner of choice and have the adequate technical inputs and specifications proactively placed
