A Snapshot of Your Day

The role of the QMiP is to act and operatively support the Project Director\Senior project Manager in expediting Quality assurance on the project(s).The QMiP is the subject matter expert and should assist in the planning of all key quality activities across the life cycle of the project.

It is also important that the QMIP has the expressed authority to intervene at any stage in the project if proceedings could have a negative impact on the project. They act as member of the core project management team!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Adaptation of quality processes to customer-specific requirements and definition QM task packages for projects
  • Check of contractual requirements regarding quality topics during the proposal stage and identification of quality related risk and opportunities
  • Develops, Control, improve and ensure the implementation of a quality plan (incl. quality assurance measures such as review/test/validation/...) for the project derived from existing QM system agreed upon with the own organization, customer, partners and suppliers
  • Managing the customer, work with regards Quality to ensure issues are optimally closed to their satisfaction.
  • Managing all external and internal interfaces, regards to quality matter, IE. registration bodies, Industry bodies, regional units etc
  • Ensuring and reporting of appropriate activities regarding the Quality management of the Project also assisting the Work package managers in failure prevention and NCR closure and other quality issues as they arise
  • Oversite on quality supplier selection and ongoing surveillance\monitoring activity for the project
  • Support the project teams for derivation of lessons learned and CAPA during the project lifecycle
  • Support for customer requirements regarding project specific audits.
  • Initiates trainings for project employees with regards to quality (e.g. methods and processes)

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 5-10 years work experience in the field of quality management in projects and/or construction sites
  • Evidence and experience of working in highly regulated industries
  • Handled and selected quality teams to support project activity
  • Experience of dealing at all levels across and project, dealing with third parties\external bodies
  • Working experience in global projects and/or interdisciplinary teams preferred.
  • Availability to travel in the country and abroad up to 20% of working time
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
