How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Ensure and control the implementation of quality methods and risk management tools in production processes, projects, and products
  • Detect non conformances and leads the process of root cause analysis and corrective and preventive measure definition
  • Support Manufacturing team for successful execution of a product through the shop by participating in Gemba and Production Meetings
  • Lead follow up meetings in order to ensure preventive and corrective measures are effectively implemented
  • Lead the elaboration of FMEAs and follows up in risk mitigation measures
  • Process Quality and Service Notifications and maintains that workflows are up to date
  • Participate and contribute in Project Risk meetings by preparing historical non conformances from previous projects
  • Participate in Cross Campus Sharing and Transfer meetings
  • Prepare presentations about quality issues to be shared with internal and external customers
  • Drive continuous improvement with special initiatives and projects
  • Develop Quality Control Instructions as required to allow collection of critical data during the manufacturing process
  • Assesses relevancy of existing Quality Control Instructions and drives consolidation and efficiency to increase manufacturing process velocity
  • Ensure that product safety activities are in line with internal and external regulations
  • Participate in new product development project releases

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering background is preferred
  • 5-10 years of successful experience in Quality role (or similar). Experience with Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine or Generator manufacturing is preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills required, to include Microsoft office products. Knowledge of Machining, Welding and NDE is preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to lead quality related initiatives in respective area
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience is preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate & collaborate with customers and employees at all levels is preferred.

Currently, we're reducing carbon emissions of existing assets and developing technologies that transform power generation applications.
