A Snapshot of Your Day

The Project Management / Operations Support will provide excellent service to our customers in fast paced environment with many moving parts.

Water is a critical element within the oil and gas industry. Siemens Energy-Water Solutions addresses water needs in the industry with a portfolio that includes physical and chemical separation technologies. We are looking for professional, versatile individuals with some project management experience and a proven project engineering background to help us address the needs of the oil and gas industry customers, now and in the future.

Your Impact

  • Develop and lead project schedule to meet document and equipment delivery with overall project budget responsibility; develop monthly revenue and cash forecast.
  • Coordinate assets including engineering, procurement, quality, production planning, shipping/receiving and safety (multiple locations possible) in a matrix organization to meet overall project requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal skills for clear and effective communication with customers, both external and internal, on project-related matters including commercial, financial and technical subjects; ability to develop project-specific communications plan and act as the single point of contact with the customer.
  • Have a clear understanding of the sold product; understand and ensure compliance with contract documents, including commercial and technical specifications, scope of work, schedule and performance requirements.
  • Responsible for change and claims management including supervising design changes and identifying delays, claims and back charges.
  • Project engineering experience with skid-mounted process equipment packages including pressure vessels, piping systems and rotating equipment; Project Manager will also act as Project Engineer on more standard product orders.
  • Ability to read and understand customer’s technical specifications and understand how these requirements impact the equipment design
  • Develop and approve all purchase order requests and releases to manufacturing with support from the technical team; provide support to Procurement for project-related purchases (specifications, budgets, deliveries and performance)
  • Coordinate delivery with Logistics department.

What You Bring 

  • High school or technical diploma required with 4+ years project coordination / project planning experience in a relevant industry. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
  • Highly organized, analytical, ability to empower from position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge & understanding of process & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
  • Capacity to work a sometime fast paced and varied schedule is a necessity along with the ability to analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical)
  • Knowledge of API 14 C
  • Experience in AutoCAD
