A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Procurement Manager in the Blades and Vanes organization in Orlando, FL you will lead and develop a high-performing procurement team. Your role is essential to driving supplier performance, ensuring supply chain reliability, and supporting Siemens Energy’s operational and growth objectives.

Each day begins with a strategic review of supplier performance using globally standardized metrics, focusing on the most critical suppliers. You’ll then lead weekly Supplier Production Meetings together with your team to assess delivery recovery plans, ensure alignment with internal expectations and provide a critical issue path when necessary.

Your day concludes with preparing a comprehensive status update for the Head of BV Operations Procurement, summarizing key supply chain issues and outlining actionable solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Overseeing and managing a BV Operational Procurement ORL team of supply chain management. specialists across multiple frames and suppliers ensuring timely delivery to internal customers.
  • Supporting Siemens Energy’s growth plan by stringently implementing contracts, following up on capacity expansion initiatives, optimizing logistics and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Establishing supplier relationships with key supplier representatives (e.g. General Managers), driving issues with suppliers.
  • Building and developing an inter-cultural, high-performing operational procurement team, which “owns” the supply chain.

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership of a procurement team, managing supply chain specialists across multiple product frames and suppliers.
  • Strong execution of contract management, capacity expansion initiatives, logistics optimization, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, including managing escalations and performance improvement plans.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that fosters accountability and ownership within the team.
  • Experience implementing global procurement processes and performance critical metrics in alignment with central and multi-functional teams.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
