Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. The Plant Quality Manager is a critical role for the success for the New Equipment and Service business at Siemens Energy Dammam Hub (SEDH). The role will be responsible for all quality related activities including personnel, adherence to all standards, customer satisfaction, setting strategy, leading continuous improvement, leading new product & process introduction and customer qualifications. Creates / Implements processes and methods to assure quality compliance for Production Orders. Act as qualified NDE resource for the plant.

You will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment supporting all aspects of Quality and Manufacturing Development. 

Reporting: The Plant Quality Manager will report directly and functionally to the Head of Dammam Operations (Plant Manager).


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable college or university
  • Has knowledge and experience as mid-level expert in the area of Manufacturing / Production Quality.
  • 7 - 10 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
  • Working knowledge of International Standards like ASME, API, ASTM, EN, DIN, ISO etc and knowledge of Saudi Aramco and SABIC standards.
  • Command on MS Office Apps, SAP QM Module
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations
  • Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
  • Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour.
  • Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensures implementation and improvement of the Integrated Management System.
  • Implements the global quality programs with his partner production sites and monitors the effectiveness of these programs.
  • Drives continuous improvement with his management and lessons learned
  • Manages the Quality/Customer interface to proactively assure requirements are understood and satisfied, including managing complaint resolution, through containment, identifying root cause and implementing preventive and corrective actions.
  • Ensures and controls implementation of quality methods and risk management in production processes, projects and products (8D, RCA, CAPA and other tools).
  • Ensures and controls implementation of quality methods and risk management in production processes, projects and products.
  • Leads qualifications efforts for Siemens Energy new product & process introduction and customer qualifications
  • Lead continuous Improvement projects aimed at identifying and implementing process improvements while ensuring sustainability through the application of CI (continuous improvement) Tools e.g. as a Lean Expert or Practitioner, or Six Sigma Certified
  • Creates real-time transparency for ad-hoc analysis, instant decision making, preventive action and continuous improvement.
  • Drives innovative digital solutions to improve production quality by thinking outside of the box, and coaching and fostering the application of creativity methods.
  • Administer and oversee the effectiveness of non-conformance management, including identification, segregation, review & disposition through the appropriate use of available systems
  • Ensures and implements production standards, guidelines and programs in an assigned plant environment.
