Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline from a reputable college or university. Previous supervisory or management experience is required. Experience in lieu of education and vice versa will be considered for the right candidate.
- At least 12 years of proven experience in production
- Excellent communications skills to motivate the team as well as to win customer confidence.
- Six sigma qualification and continuous improvement training, as well as good problem-solving abilities are required.
- Work experience with the assembly of large rotating equipment’s like gas and steam turbines as well as gas compressors.
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Good understanding of production planning to ensure on-time-deliveries
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Your Responsibilities
- Employee selection and training, administrative tasks, Performance Management, EHS and IMS compliance.
- Facility preparation and maintenance, equipment and fixtures management, manage CAPEX, standard development.
- Process and tooling development and institutionalization, technical resource management, continuous improvement CI and initiation of Lean Production projects. Control of processes. Compliance with and strong interfaces to Siemens Energy standards and expectations. Develop and maintain processes with QE and EHS. Reduce bureaucracy and complexity in production processes.
- Ensure general housekeeping and implement & maintain 5S principles.
- Understanding customer and project needs, acceptance of order, conversion of order to Siemens Energy systems, release to floor, follow order and status and report, manage quality elements in shop and provide outside visibility, complete order and provide necessary documentation to Siemens Energy systems, ship and close orders.
- Develops and guides project/program solution plans for very complex projects or programs. Implements very complex technical projects or programs. Guides the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management). Provides technical design guidance for projects. Guides continuous improvement plans and project expansion opportunities. May develop client relationships and sales opportunities. Develop and implement localization measures.
- Successfully defines workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Area of responsibility is primarily tactical/operational in nature, with limited strategic impact. Develops and manages departmental budgets and/or business plans for a small to mid-size department. Typical responsibility for innovation is to continuously enhance or improve existing policies, products, and methods. Identifies resource needs and develops justification. Develops existing team and trains newcomer, with an increase of young Saudi talents. Troubleshoots and resolves very complex problems. Recommends/ determines organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company. Responsible for overall success of function or project.
