A Snapshot of Your Day 

Cybersecurity engineer is responsible for technical execution of Omnivise Cybersecurity projects from technical clarification, design and architecture, facilitation of procurement of third-party products up to implementation of Cybersecurity solutions, monitoring, and reporting of work progress and preparation of customer documentation.
The day may be spent in the office, working with colleagues and customers on current projects, at the Factory Acceptance Test facilities, performing customer witness tests, or at industrial sites and power plants across the world, working on site implementations.
Cybersecurity engineer works as a part of Deliver To Customers execution team and plays a special role in ensuring critical infrastructure security for our customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Design of architecture, components, and mechanisms for cyber security solutions
  • Making decision on security related issues
  • Facilitation of procurement of third-party hardware/software included in project scope
  • Responsibility for implementation of Siemens Energy cybersecurity solutions in accordance with best industry practices (remote and on-site)
  • Monitoring and reporting of budget and work progress and preparation of customer documentation
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering with five or more years of experience executing cybersecurity projects or alternative experience; experience in execution of cybersecurity projects in Operational Technology preferred
  • Cybersecurity controls deployment and operation in Operations Technology (OT), experience with Siemens Energy control systems preferred
  • Knowledge of national and international cyber OT and ICS related cybersecurity standards and regulations
  • Excellent listening and social skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of people at varying organizational levels
  • A customer focused mind-set with the ability to prioritize and execute high pressure tasks
  • GICSP, CISSP or similar certification preferred as well as fluent German and English required

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
