A Snapshot of Your Day
Responsible for crafting 3-D models and fabrication drawings for centrifugal compressor components, while migrating 2-D designs and ensuring alignment to Siemens Energy’s engineering standards. Manage project timelines, maintain drawing revisions, and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- 3-D Modeling and Drawings of components / assemblies related to packaging of Centrifugal Compressors
- Migration of 2-D drawings to 3-D models using commercial engineering CAD software, Maintain drawing revision control
- Follow Siemens Energy global engineering standards and drafting practices
- Build fabrication drawings & pipe isometrics for ready to manufacture
- Implement engineering design projects, Effective utilization of available tools & resources
- Recording and tracking of time used for various projects, Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information of Siemens Energy products
What You Bring
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience ranging from minimum of 2+ years to 5 years in the relevant area
- Hands on experience with CAD Tools like, NX in Turbomachines (Centrifugal Compressors/Gas Turbines/Steam Turbines) and preferably in Oil & Gas Domain
- Hand on experience with PLM tools like Teamcenter
- Detailed knowledge of GD&T, Drafting Standards and Welding Standards
- Solid Understanding of Modeling and Detailing of Turbomachinery Packages
- Solid Understanding on GA, P&ID, Base plate, and Auxiliary Systems
