How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Service organizational ownership (P&L light) of the “get” phase of Digital Products and Solutions, including market analysis, business model development, target setting and sales plan
  • Define the requirements for the development of new digital products to protect, grow and decarbonize the Gas Services Business incl. a common platform concept for products and services, monitor the development, drive for prototyping conduct readiness assessment, and drive the market launch. 
  • Prepare the sales growth plan for existing digital offerings, align the target setting and Go-to-Market strategy with the regional sales heads, review the target achievements, and implement (if required) corrective actions
  • Market Opportunities:  Identification of digital business opportunities based on customer needs and market dynamics for (but not limited to) the DecarbFocusAreas 
  • Business case development and feasibility studies for prioritizing resource allocation, classify potential stakeholders and assign investment priorities.
  • Product Strategy, development, coordination and planning: translate ideas into short term and long-term execution plans, ensure product development and drive revenues growth for Core and DFA business (Get phase)
  • Qualify early-stage opportunities and assist Sales in the pre-sales phase with making go/no-go decisions, respond to technical requirements of an RFP, and assist in customer meetings
  • Drive product retention and upsell/cross-sell strategies with customers with existing digitalization products as well for the transactional and program business
  • Research and inform/integrate “First-mover” trends in the field. Evaluate market segments, entry and exit barriers.
  • Review the organizational efficiency to improve workflow improvement, manage existing stakeholders and customers, consulting and product revision.


What You Bring 

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, MBA is a plus
  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated ability in the technical sales - digital sales is a plus, experience selling value-based offerings in the power generation business, chemical industry, or mobility
  • Deep subject matter expertise in specific marketing discipline(s) and power plant / industry requirements for all associated deliverables, systems, processes, workflows, governance, and best practices
  • Experience in developing sales plans aligned to business objectives and translating plans into actionable work for teams
  • Successful track record of achieving growth targets and delivering marketing projects on time, on budget, and with results
  • MRM and project management technology landscape and best practices, knowledge of process improvement and other project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PMP) is desirable
  • Experience serving, collaborating with, and influencing executive management
