A Snapshot of Your Day 

The successful candidate will assist in continuous improvement, maintenance of routers, Quality Control Charts, training documents, work instructions, PPQs (Part Qualifications (PPAP)).   You will also manage Shop Supplies and Tooling by controlling what consumables are maintained onsite.  Additional duties include supporting adjustments to plant layout for volume and or product mix, updates.  Responsibilities will change as our customer needs change.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Support continuous improvement activities by participating in CI Meeting, completing tasks and helping define improvements.
  • Assist in developing and delivering technical information documents, estimates, reports, or training documentation.
  • Deliver process or design definition and interpretation and assessment of specs and requirements.
  • Design, commission, and qualify custom tools, jigs, fixtures and tests, gage R&R as required.
  • Assist in the qualification of process improvements by documenting changes, acquiring and reviewing data and having samples tested to assure they meet all requirements.
  • Controlling Shop Supplies to assure we have the appropriate consumables without having too much in inventory and purging all supplies that are no longer needed.


What You Bring 

  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of PC applications, MS Office, CAD/NX software. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Exposure to lean concepts, quality control systems is required. Prior or current experience with Siemens Energy's customers, equipment, and processes is a plus.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
