A Snapshot of Your Day
As a part of the Digital Grid organization, as America’s Head of Market Applications for Grid Enhancing Technologies, you will be leading an international and diverse team to shape go to market strategies, support sales efforts, understand customer requirements, collaborate with development and execution teams, and manage diverse stakeholders to achieve financial targets and ensure customer satisfaction!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement effective go to market strategies
- Support the sales organization to increase Grid Enhancing Technologies’ market share and meet yearly financial targets
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to find opportunities and threats
- Represent the customer’s voice and market needs to the internal organization
- Lead, empower, and manage an international and diverse team
- Support lead generation efforts and oversee offer management activities
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts
- Ensure compliance to company policies and processes
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in technical sales and/or offer management roles, preferable within the Energy sector.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading teams, and in the fields of sales strategy, offer management, and/or business development, preferably in the Energy sector.
- Understanding of customer needs, competition landscape, applicable business models, pricing strategies, and strong customer orientation and relationships.
- Ownership mentality and can-do attitude
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English. Spanish and/or Portuguese are additionally relevant
- Ability to analyze markets, identify trends and latent requirements, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
