How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supervise GIS installation
  • Close communication with you Supervisor lead, project managers
  • Provide guidance for engineering teams for secondary, primary and civil portions of the projects
  • Ensure an installation of equipment is on time
  • Control contractor schedules
  • Support Service projects of Siemens Energy Systems

 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • HV or MV substation experience required
  • GIS supervision experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HV GIS commissioning preferred
  • The position can be based anywhere in the US, however will require 80-90% travel across North America
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

We are the #1 HV GIS Systems provider in North America. Our team we are all working close together, from Sales over frontend, project management, engineering and on site installation and testing. The onsite Team has several different roles, from logistics, installation testing, services, technical advices, training of contractors and customer

Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid. The power grid is the backbone of the energy transition. Siemens Energy offers a leading portfolio and solutions in HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and digital grid technology.
