About the Role

- Responsibility for the periodic financial statements relating to project business within Siemens Energy in line with IFRS and local GAAP
- Act as a reliable business partner for all project related inquiries, provide guidance for complex business models and perform reconciliations of construction projects
- Evaluate and assess new orders and contract constellations from an accounting perspective
- Act as contact person for auditors and tax authorities, being the interface to the business
- Support management in decision making and in evaluating complex business transactions
- Support the development and introduction of a new ERP landscape in your area of responsibility, focusing on accounting matters relating to project business accounting
- University degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related field
- Long-term proven professional experience in the field of General Ledger Accounting
- Work experience of SAP advantageous for this role, preferably End-to-end understanding of accounting processes of projects in ERP landscape (e.g., SAP FI, CO)
- Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP accounting
- Desire and motivation to work in an evolving and dedicated team as well as an open and communicative personality
- Full business proficiency in English and German
