Within the Aero Gas Turbine business we have an exciting opportunity to join the Quality, Health and Safety function and directly support the business in this area. This position will present the opportunity to work both internally and externally with our extensive customer base with both local and international opportunities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business in the delivery of our Zero Harm programme
- Demonstrate diligence and determination in ensuring the development of, and adherence to safe practices and procedures
- Have the courage and strength to do what is right and bring others with you
- Build your Continuous Improvement skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma basics training and owning/implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Become an active member within a team of Entry Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business projects through our culture hub. The scope of these projects will provide you with valuable team working experiences and opportunities to enhance presentation skills
What You Bring
● Be on track to graduate with a 2:2 degree or above and have a passion for order and organisation with exceptional communication skills
● A passion and genuine care for the safety and security of people and the environment
● Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking responsibility for live tasks and projects you’ve been assigned either individually or as part of a physical or virtual team
● Are flexible, know how to connect and communicate with others and pride yourself on being positive
● Are comfortable with change and able to react to unexpected challenges with enthusiasm both as part of a team and whilst leading others
● Willingness to embrace continuous improvement with the ability to generate creative solutions to problems
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
