· High School Diploma or GED

· 5+ years relevant experience in Electrical Assembly or Manufacturing of Rotating Equipment

· Preference given to applicants with specific expert knowledge of Siemens Energy Turbomachinery rotating equipment assembly (particularly SGT 100-400 Gas Turbine Packaging, RF and Datum range of turbo-compressors) also including ability to Read and interpret electrical drawings, understand production wiring techniques and assembly of turbine engine and compressors, Understand, and recognize electrical parts, components, and their operations. development and interpretation of technical assembly instructions, build methods and sequencing of core compressor internals and auxiliaries

· Excellent communicator who can work with Engineering, Quality, Material Control, and all other crafts in production

· Able to travel approximately 15% of the time when the need arises.

Your responsibilities

· Uphold and adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety standards and maintain a clean and orderly work area

· Perform assigned duties as necessary and comply with all company work instructions and quality management system policies

· Review and interpret complex electrical assembly instructions, specifications, and blueprints to inspect, repair, replace, install, and maintain a variety of electrical components or assemblies on gas turbines, compressors, and associated packages

· Be proficient in assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and related equipment. Run conduit and perform wire terminations according to drawings. Work with National/International Electrical Codes. Work with hazardous areas and intrinsically

safe areas in conjunction with turbines and associated equipment Operate and understand Motor Control Centers, Fire and Gas systems, Generator Control and Vibration instrumentation. Perform electrical/mechanical measurements and adjustments as necessary for correct tolerances, record measurements for review.

· Perform electrical trouble shooting on all electrical components associated with our packages.

· Receives instructions from blueprints (in both English and metric scales), instruction sheets, and verbal and written instructions from others like test facility engineers, supervisors, and manager

· Perform fitting and precision alignment of mechanical components using tools and required methods for the assembly of turbines, compressors, and associated packages

· Utilize all types of flukes and electrical measuring equipment and tools, air grinders and overhead lifting devices

· Conduct minor repairs within the scope of the available expertise which may include making part adjustments using various machining techniques

· Notify management/engineering of issues and deviations from print and regularly conduct and document simple maintenance and cleaning work according to the specifications or maintenance plan.

· Work with management/engineering to refine assembly best practices and train less experienced Assembly Technicians

· Perform all other assigned duties as necessary outside of designated craft.

· Cross train and assist in other departments such as compressor assembly and test on a regular basis
